Photographs are extensively manipulated and textured to express Iris’ view of the subject matter. Due to her knowledge of photo manipulation, Iris is able to restore the beauty of old photographs and combine various photos in one image, either by composition or collage.

Many of her artistic renderings are suitable for framing or printing on canvas. Iris uses these images also to have calendars, greeting cards and postcards made, as well as journals, light-switch plates, ceramic tiles and ceramic tile boxes .
