Spring can’t come fast enough, and what better way to get into the season than with a fresh new look for your table. Spring is everywhere already in table linens, with florals and pastels in tablecloths, placemats and table runners and matching wood napkin rings that make you feel a sense of bliss, joy and renewal that one can only feel with the coming of Spring. So how can you give your table setting a touch of Spring. Here are a few tips from the experts.

Wood is in!

Nothing says Spring like some nice wood accessories, especially for those of us trying to be more “eco-friendly.” Find some fabulous eco-friendly wood napkin rings or wood charger plates to bring a natural outdoors feeling to your table. Pair those charges with some woven vinyl placemats for the perfect casual look.

Use Colours and Patterns

Florals and Pastels are most commonly used to create a Spring look. Try pairing a Floral tablecloth with plain napkins in a complimentary colour or vice versa. Or try a floral runner and floral napkins with solid colour placemats or a tablecloth. Use complimentary pastel colours in a placemat, napkin table runner combination for a soft, springy look. One of our personal favourites, try combining aqua coloured table linens with chocolate brown. Mix and match wherever you can!

Go Green….Literally!

Celery green is in! This is one of big colours for Spring in Tablecloths, placemats and table runners. Use it wherever you can and mix and match with a floral or multi-coloured stripe such as the Oxford Grass. Nothing screams “Spring!” like some green accents.
