Looking to create the perfect romantic setting this Valentine’s Day?
Look no further than your tablecloths, napkins, table runners and napkin rings to make your dinner table the best spot in town.
The formula is simple. Think red, white and black. If you already have a tablecloth that is in one of these colours, start there. If not, use your dishes as a starting point. Plain white dishes should only be used with a red or black tablecloth, while patterned dishes may work best with a white tablecloth.
Next, layer in some napkins in one of the complimentary colours (If your tablecloth is black or white, make sure those napkins are red.) Whatever you do, don’t leave those napkins bare! Add in some fabulous beaded napkin rings in red, black or clear. Silver napkin rings works well too.
Add a red table runner across the table for that extra punch of Valentine’s Day red. For the final touch, create some romantic lighting with red, black or white candles, depending on how you have coordinated your table linens.
Et Voila! A table fit for the most romantic at heart. Happy Valentine’s Day!
