Finishing palette in foyer, stairs

Jessica from Toledo, Ohio asks...

Hello!
We are building a home. We have chosen espresso floors, alpina white kitchen countertops (quartz), canvas colored cabinets, Spartan Stone 780D-5 (Behr) for kitchen, Silverado Trail 620E-3 for very large great room walls and Winter Day 610E-2 for ceiling, Wheat Bread 720C-3 for sofa in great room and maybe as one of two colors for chair-rail divided dining room. ALso have Bucks County country ledgestone on top of white painted wood fireplace in great room. Ultra Pure White 1850 is trim color. Twinkle 390A-3 is “accent” color (our only true bold accent we’re planning in two bowls of oranges in kitchen and great room), but don’t know if I can use this yellow in the foyer. This yellow is similar to the shade of our exterior (which also has Bucks County stone). We are doing chocolate brown and light blue in bedroom on first floor. Would like to know what to paint the dining room, foyer, and stairs. Also the small bathroom next to foyer.
Our style is definitely ‘safe’ and mostly cool.
THis picture is looking at the foyer from the great room. I am a little nervous of painting the foyer the same color as the great room, which can be seen as a shade of lavendar and my husband won’t be happy if there is too much purple. I could do the Spartan Stone in the great room/foyer and dining room in spartan stone and wheat bread (and do the silverado trail or twinkle in kitchen)??. Would love a designer’s thoughts on this. Can provide more photos if needed. Thanks! Jessica
