Help! we have just combined households..his mine and ours. Is there a way to coordinate the furnishings and styles?

Your question is more common than you may think! Yes, it’s possible to coordinate different styles as long as there is an overall design concept to harmonize it. Of course it’s not only by mixing everything with no direction to follow. The look of a space works when the different elements work together. By looking at an isolated piece by itself you won’t have the sense of it, but when it is part of a concept it may work. In the end the sofa may go, but remember, there may be some compromises from both sides…..
