SUBURBAN BEDROOM

The clients were tired of their Colonial suite and old fashioned colours. What the room already had going for it was a fabulous focal window and abundant space.

The goal was to create a more elegant, contemporary look with a better use of the space.

The traditional focus of a bedroom is the bed. By placing the bed under the window the best features of the room were highlighted.

The colours were reduced to a more subdued and neutral palette.

The fabrics were chosen for their comforting textures and elegant look. By rearranging the furniture, room became available for two comfortable easy chairs that created a cozy sitting area. The new furniture retains a traditional look with an overall contemporary feel.
